Idiots with guns.

Know of a place that is actively involved in chaos? Are you a legal gun owner?

Then YOU should avoid that place, THAT IS WHAT A RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNER DOES.

Here are two irresponsible gun owners. One is dead, the other is somehow a hero (to some).

Carrying a weapons in public is a great responsibility. Avoid chaos, avoid places where you might be forced to use deadly force. If you look for a place to use your weapon you are likely to find it.

The dead guy was not "going armed" to fight cops, but he made a bad choice, in my opinion, to participate in the known chaos WHILE armed.

The "hero" went armed into public to protect property in a place of known chaos, and ended up being confronted because hero boy went mobile, FORCING HIMSELF to use deadly force. Another BAD CHOICE.

YES, they both legally obtained and carried their firearms. YES I support their rights to do so. But its where, when, why and how that mattered in those cases. I vote against overly restrictive 2A regulations and will continue to do so.

You can say they were both irresponsible for going to a known chaos event armed. You can ALSO say that one should never have engaged and killed others, and the other should not have been killed for being armed.

I don't own guns to fight the government, people that say that they own guns for that purpose are fucking morons. I own guns for times when there is an ABSENCE of government, or when the government has a response time of "after I'm dead".

2A fetishists are slobbering goons in the same way that the anti-2A goons are.

Like every other Constitutional right; there are consequences for exercising them. A person must weigh the potential result for exercising the 2A, the first or any other core right.

And here we go ...

Reporting is now showing that Pretti (dead guy) has a record of injecting himself into the ICE chaos. A week before his death he had a scuffle with ICE agents and got a broken rib for it (allegedly). He was not armed during that episode.

So, he made a conscience decision to arm himself before the follow on interactions? I dunno man, I stand by my comment that it was a bad decision to go armed into that area since confrontation was likely to happen. PURPOSEFUL confrontation with armed ICE agents while you are armed does NOT sound like sound decision making to me.

Likewise purposefully confronting rioters in the streets with a rifle was not a sound decision either. (Rittenhouse)

If you can do it legally, Get armed. Stay armed. Stay legal. Stay in a position that makes sense. Dont inject yourself into chaos.

YOU are not a freedom fighter, YOU are not going to win versus the FEDS.

Protest. March. Speak out. Video the events from a distance. BUT DO NOT inject yourself into a law enforcement operation.
