Progressives are all in a tizzy about it. Republicans are unusually silent about it. I don't know shit about fuck when it comes to Iranian threats. It seems the two main accusers of Iran's evil plot is Israeli and American. I don't trust either of these governments enough to tell me fucking literally anything because of how often and conveniently they lie. I can't afford a monthly payment to get unbiased news so I'm a subject study of someone who literally has no objective source for information anymore. Talk about demoralizing. I've got no puff left. We're literally contemplating another war and I have no log in the fire. Interested to read opinions, not because I'm looking for a stance to take. I've already established I've failed there. I'm just intersted to hear opinions from people who know more than me. It's all I've got.
 
Iran is a belligerent theocratic nation. They have no regard for the region, they actively participate in funding of terror organizations, they have direct roles in targeting US troops in the past as well. They have active roles in killing Arabs around the globe as well.

If my neighbor tells me he "wants to kill me" while he is holding a knife, I am legally clear in taking a shot "in self defense" since he made his intent known AND had means to carry out that intent. The only caveat here is that I must feel as if it is a valid threat.

Iran has been a Valid threat for decades.

Therefore YES the Iranian theocratic belligerent regime should have been knocked out LONG ago.


So why now? And Also why not THEN (any time in history over the last 25 years).


Everything the Orange Menace and his Goons does is now 100% suspect and I don't trust any of them at face value.

They need to SHOW the relevant proof to the relevant Congressional committees and do it now.

All I have is an opinion, 99% of the people pro or con this issue are giving an opinion and have shit level understanding about the issues.

Seems like bad sauce to make a "deal" with a group of people that routinely lie and try and kill you though. So I'd say the deal Obama made was worth less than the paper it was on considering a great many clauses in that agreement gave far to MUCH much leeway to the Iranians being able to cheat and hide.

Trump did what Trump did because he was advised to do it. All Presidents have advisors, Trump just has a lot of advisors that are out of the "mainstream" this is why many of his ideas seems out of the ordinary or bat shit crazy.
