Happy New Year, everyone! As we stand at the threshold of a brand-new chapter, there is such a beautiful electricity in the air, isn't there? I wanted to kick things off here by talking about the magic of New Year’s resolutions.

Rather than seeing them as chores, let’s view our goals as a joyful springboard! Resolutions are really just a formal way of saying, "I believe in a brighter version of tomorrow." Whether you’re diving into a new hobby over in the Side Quest or simply committing to sharing more "positive vibes only" right here, every small intention is a seed for a spectacular year.

Let’s use this space to lift each other up and celebrate the goals no matter how tiny.

Here’s to a year overflowing with wholesome moments, big smiles, and the unstoppable power of optimism!

I have decided to, finally, learn to play the guitar. I have a two year plan actually.

I plan to record my progress and do a monthly montage video.

Just bought a Fender Dreadnought (CD-60SCE), am excited about getting started.

I'm gonna doooeet !

Note: Nealy two months later and I've done less than three hours of practice. Not giving up, just no longer a priority.

Mine is the more stereotypical get healthy bullshit. I've lost the baby weight for the most part, but am venturing into 'skinny fat' territory.

Moreso, I want to get into yoga and hiking again. Beekeeping is pretty good for a workout but it really is only physically intense for a couple months of the year. My worry is with tax season approaching I will end up sitting at my desk for hours on end and then not want to do anything afterwards. I will have to try to find a balance by either working out before work or going for a walk at least on my breaks.

I'd like to learn more about sociology. More specifically, I want to know how I was so far off when it came to gauging American opinions. I feel like learning about sociology is my best bet at understanding how things got to where they are. And maybe offer insight in to how best to react.
